AAC Piston position on a Colt Barrel Bushing

AAC Piston position on a Colt Barrel Bushing

Hi
On a Colt 1911 with a AAC Ti-Rant 45 and a short piston. should the piston tighten to the barrel bushing or should there be a space between the two?

Yes there should be a gap.
