Here ya go.
A Freedom Arms Mini Revolver, threaded and suppressed.
It was an experiment that worked out better than we expected. We wondering if it could be made"hearing safe" because these little critters are so loud that you ears will bleed if you are dumb enough to shoot them with out hearing protection.
We already knew that the cylinder gap would allow a lot of gas to escape and that it would be loud when it did. All of the naysayers that said it couldn't be done were even impressed when they shot it. I heard every excuse there was as to why it wouldn't work. I was told that there was simply no use in even trying.
The barrel was too small to thread. So, I took it off. I ended up using a cut off part of a Ruger 10/22 barrel that went from 20" un-threaded to 16" threaded for a suppressor.
Since most of these little revolvers are stainless, I used a stainless cut off to match.
I extended the length of the barrel just a bit. I had to fabricate a new cylinder pin as the factory original was too big in diameter to make it work.
I also shortened up the cylinder gap just a bit to minimize the the blast.
I didn't know what to expect, but I was pleasantly surprised. It's still loud for a suppressed .22 but we knew that it would be. The best part was that it was hearing safe using CCI Standard ammo. No ringing ears. Not much blast escaping from the cylinder and the Huntertown Arms "B" suppressor actually did an admirable job. Although its designed to be fired wet, we fired it dry to get an idea of what it would sound like if it happened to be carried in a pocket with out leaking all over the place.
Practical? Maybe not.
Different? Definitely.
Fun to shoot?Absolutely.
Cool Factor? Very high.

I think that's pretty cool. Agree that it's not practical but don't care because contrary to some NRA instructor's opinions and countless lawyerly disclaimers to the contrary, sometimes a gun is a toy.
Re: The Smallest Suppressed Gun in Arkansas
I have the same little can, that thing is pretty cool, they do an ok job for the size, the p22 I have is quieter than the 15-22 with it on both for some reason. The are supposed to be shot wet, not many know about them or that they are supposed to be shot wet only. was kinda bummed when I was told that after I bought it, but wire pulling gel is awesome in it. you try an oring for the cylinder?

The only reason after 243 years the government now wants to disarm you is they intend to do something you would shoot them for!

Bad video link, awesome little setup, can't wait to see the video you've got. Just need a holster and you can CCW that thing.
Proper grammar is awesome.
