HUNTERTOWN KESTREL RECORE
We have had a lot of interest in our rebaffle for the Huntertown Arms Kestrel 30 Cal suppressors. We have finally came back from the fire last year and are back in production. I tried to get back to everyone that had emailed us to let them know we are ready to do the upgrades, I put this thread up just in case I missed someone. With our baffles the Kestrel will run right around 127db on sub sonic 300Blk and around 137db on a 18" 308 super sonic. If anyone is interested just email us at [email protected] . The upgrade is $375 + shipping and tax if in Ohio.

Joseph @ curtistactical:
Why do you'all clip 180* instead of just notching 60-90*? This has been a Topic of much discussion/debate here.
So you assemble w right on top to left on bottom in pic 1, alternating the clip direction? What's the material? Very pretty work.

Re: HUNTERTOWN KESTREL RECORE
I personally have found the 180deg clip quieter especially when using sub sonic ammo, if I were doing just for subs I would clip it about .06 deeper but for an all around use the clip that's in it works great. When you clip them this way you must alternate the clips to make it work right. The material is 17-4ss.whiterussian1974 wrote:Joseph @ curtistactical:

The Kestrels are the only models we have done but we would be happy to make yours the first. If you are interested just email me and I will do a quick drawing and get a price for you, I am going to say somewhere around $200.darkstar2 wrote:Do you re core HTA Guardian .22s also?

Re: HUNTERTOWN KESTREL RECORE
We will look at any user serviceable suppressor, as long as we think we can work with the size and design of the suppressor we will recore it. The Huntertown cans are just good candidates because the overall design is okay but the baffle designs just leave me scratching my head.dj_fatstyles wrote:better question would be if he recores the whole line of hta cansdarkstar2 wrote:Do you re core HTA Guardian .22s also?

Very clean and nice. Compliments.
Out of curiosity are those baffles machined from one piece, stamped,
or welded from two sections?
Guess there is still a residual in a kid who

Thanks Historian, all the baffles are machined from 17-4 bar stock. Currently the only thing we weld are the tubes on our integral builds ( I say we weld when actually I have wicked do all my welding, his welds just put mine to shame).

I haven't saw yours, i bet yours saves a lot of weight, we are cutting about an ounce out of it just by design.

JJ, your work and attitude are superlative.
E.g. "" ..Currently the only thing we weld are the tubes on our integral builds
( I say we weld when actually I have wicked do all my welding,
is welds just put mine to shame)."
Your graciousness earns you the ultimate old Southie compliment
of your being "Wicked Smaaht (sic)".
Much success.
Best.
