General silencer discussion. If you want to talk about a specific silenced rifle or pistol, it is best to do that in the rifle or pistol section for that brand.

sparrow had _significant_ FRP and louder than all other cans overall.
the best was aac element 2. zero FRP and very quiet overall.
Well no s--t, just go back to basics.
The sparrow is a monocore which by design usually give a FRP and can be louder.
The element is a K baffle can, which if designed properly are always quieter than a monocore.
I do have a sparrow for my 22 mag and 10-22 SBR and the Pilot and Alpine are for the pistols and bolt rifles.
well the regulator is monocore and has ZERO FRP i mean 000000 .the sparrow is good for rifles as far i can see . i have shot my buddies sparrow and its so small ,easy to clean , but that frp is loud. PLUS sparrow should be now a sub $300 suppressor with all the newer cans being better

I prefer the Spectre to Sparrow. Quieter first shot, pretty close afterwards. Spectre II click Baffles are easy to clean. I don't think the mono core is that easy to clean anyway. It's a little heavier.

No frp on a rifle or negative frp on a rifle, whichever way sounds better.
Yes frp on a pistol.
