Suppressor for AK, used by Spetsnaz.

General silencer discussion. If you want to talk about a specific silenced rifle or pistol, it is best to do that in the rifle or pistol section for that brand.

All NFA laws apply.

ah geez, put your glasses on. the two sides 180 from each other are not full OD, looks like some "tabs" with a hole in it, notice at the bottom is where the outer shell seats, etc. it looks like that because of the way it was machined, but once the outer shell slips over these areas become small chambers on the OD, etc.

Image

looks a tad different than above. when the outer sleeve slips on this one the gases do not see chambers on the OD.

I think you are seeing a optical illusion or need dark glasses and a white cane.Letting the gases pass in that area would not help suppression.Lets see if Mishka is reading the mail and will settle this for you.
The only reason after 243 years the government now wants to disarm you is they intend to do something you would shoot them for!

Mishka wrote:Suppressor was created on request from certain Russian Spetsnaz operators. They wanted an effective sound and flash suppression for use with standard issue (supersonic) ammunition. Tje main goal was to develop a lightweigh and inexpensive device; it was achieved by using aluminum alloys, lathe turning and CNC machining. Shown here is a prototype.
