Do I need any more cans?

General silencer discussion. If you want to talk about a specific silenced rifle or pistol, it is best to do that in the rifle or pistol section for that brand.

All NFA laws apply.

Do I need any more cans?

Post by quiettime »

I have a Warlock II, Recce 5 and 7, a Mask 22 and Obsidian in jail and now a Sandman L.

Only cans I'm still interested in are the Ruger Silent-SR, Surge 7.62, Omega and Omega 9k, and *maybe a 9mm can like Octane. Really don't need any of them, they're just cans I like and think it would be cool to own. If possible I'd like to purchase anything additional prior to 41f just because I don't want the extra hassle.

I'm pretty stretched out at the moment but I've put a few guns I don't shoot for sale just in case...

So I figured I'd ask the audience just for fun

Are you trying to do something specific, what are your wants? From what I see you can do rimfire, pistol, 3-lug 9mm, 45 carbine, 5.56 and 7.62 as well. If you want small short and light 300 BO SBR maybe a Razor. A solid Stelite core for mostly full auto and very short barrel abuse is a nice addition anyway. Want to keep options open for 458 Socom and 338 Lapa maybe a Hybrid.
It's not a silencer, it's a can of whoopass!

My Recce 7 works well on the BLK. Just more or less looking for advice like "man I got the _____ and you definitely want one of those" or "you got it covered quit wasting money"

How about doing an integral build, for your favorite carbine?

I used to buy buy buy, not that anything is wrong with that, but my collection got so big and my available time dwindled.

Over the past few years, I've been thinning my collection, to that which I love and use the most.

Now I've been doing integrals or custom, swappable, cans for these items. The last firearm I bought was 4-5yrs ago, for my Mauser build. Since then, all my resources have gone into customizing what I'm keeping. Not strictly towards suppressors. Maybe a new stock or glass, but I'm leaning towards a dedicated can for the majority of firearms it makes sense on.

You've no rush, to make up your mind now, or do you?
Personally, I don't see 41P as an issue. So, I knock out 10-20 fingerprint cards in like an hour and print off a ton of passport photos. I can drop off the papers on my way to work. I look at it as a "ha-ha, FU" to my CLEO. "Look what I did, and didn't need your permission. " :D

Actually I think I will file F1 for a .30 can I can take apart so I can shoot cast and be super quiet. Hadn't really thought about an integral

I like redundancy for some reason. Double or triple up on something you really like to shoot. I've gor 3 rimfire cans, 3 30 cal cans, 2 5.56 cans, and a 9mm. If I hadn't just bought an offshore fishing boat, I'd be getting another 9mm
You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.
