I would like to eventually get a tax stamp and build a suppressor using a form 1...
I have heard rumors that you cannot sell items you have created (form 1 items)...
Is this true? I hope I never have to move to another unconstitutional state in my life but, if am forced to, I would hate my only option to be to destroy my property vs selling it. Thanks for the input!
Selling a Form 1 Suppressor?

Another option in that case above (or someone deploying overseas for a time) is that if you have a friend with a gun safe in your old legal State or another near-by legal State, you could put your silencer in a small locked box that would be inside your friend's gun safe. Your friend wouldn't have a key or combination for access to your locked box. And you might be able to occasionally make a conjugal visit to your silencer and use it during the visit. It's an option instead of selling or destroying it.I hope I never have to move to another unconstitutional state in my life but, if am forced to, I would hate my only option to be to destroy my property vs selling it.
You can fool all of the people some of the time, and some of the people all of the time...and those are pretty good odds.

Depending on the caliber you might be able to thread one of these through the bore.

Re: Selling a Form 1 Suppressor?
You can sell Form 1 devices. Most people don't because the return is pretty low for most things, but between that and destruction, you can take a smaller loss.
One of the big deals is that if the sale is out of state, then there are 2 tax stamps involved, so just like used suppressors on form 4's aren't worth much, most things built on Form 1's aren't either, especially since they're a crap-shoot as far as function and reliability are concerned.
