General silencer discussion. If you want to talk about a specific silenced rifle or pistol, it is best to do that in the rifle or pistol section for that brand.

On the 16" version the rear cap is welded to the barrel and the tube is welded to the rear cap, in this case the whole baffle stack will pull out of the front of the suppressor. The baffles are still threaded together and fully encased from the tube so they slide right out.

Thanks Joe. Just watched the videos as well. The side by side comparison is excellent. Once again nice work!

Compliments on workmanship, presentation, and result.

Thank you for invitation at range.

As Sam Elliot the actor once said when someone
noted " ... you married Katherine Ross", his priceless
answer in his rumbling Texas voice was " ... somebody
had to".

We know how hard it is to be 'forced' to work on firearms
and suppressors but you also can happily answer "... somebody
has to." :)

Much success.

An MPX with an Octane 9 using 158 gr Fiocchi is as close to 'Hollywood quiet' as a 9mm gets I think.

This setup should be most interesting indeed!

The 147gr is the heaviest I have tried, I know a guy running 165gr hand loads and a Tirant 9, it sounds good too.
