General silencer discussion. If you want to talk about a specific silenced rifle or pistol, it is best to do that in the rifle or pistol section for that brand.

I have suppressor envy.
It's not a silencer, it's a can of whoopass!

I broke the mic on my meter so now I am saving up for a new digital meter instead of putting $1600 in my old one. Take a look at the video above, by ear it is right in the 120db range. That was shooting 500gr 458 socom, it will be quieter with the 510 whisper. I am working on building my 50 razorback right now, its the same as 510 whisper but uses a 300rum as the parent case.

Hard to tell in videos what a can sound level is, can sometimes pick up the tone, but not the loudness.
Video was great, can looks amazing. No worries on actual numbers for me, more curious what that round/can combo is capable of more than anything else.
Thanks

Your work looks superb
I'm anxious to see how it does on the 510 with subsonic rounds.

On my "will buy when funds allow" list for sure! I'm a fan of volume and love the 2" diameter and the reflexed idea too.
I think that would look quite like the russkie VSSK on a DTA action but with better ergos and parts/ammo support.
