13" 308 pistol

General silencer discussion. If you want to talk about a specific silenced rifle or pistol, it is best to do that in the rifle or pistol section for that brand.

I cant quite make out the type of rattle can, could you share info on the paint brand and type? And did you bake it? How tough a finish would you say it is, comparable to a commercial car paint for example?

This one was Rust-Oleum Satin colors, they are very flat matte look, the nozzles clog a lot :(

Brake is :PWS CQB COMP 30 ( have shot it ? 12 times with is to function test - 99% suppressed )

I try and lay a very good base coat, then as the camo colors wear, scratch, dinged and dropped it just looks used/cooler looking.

Here is a picture of the longer .260 pig, it's had 3,000+ rounds, 6 years of tactical matches and still looks good, you can see the wear in the 2nd pic

Ah, thanks. I've tried Rustoleum satin, but found they get 'gummy' with handling so went to Krylon. Still not hugely durable but better. I wish they made Rustoleum Appliance Epoxy in more colours than black, white and silver... that stuff's amazing once baked.
