Prior to mounting your pistol can on the firearm, either pour a few cc of water or wire pulling gel into the blast chamber end of the suppressor (I believe the recommended amount is 5cc or a water bottle cap's worth). Mount the can on the host weapon and fire. Depending on your suppressor, you may get some splattering back on you, so wear your safetly glasses, and don't wear a white shirt. :D

As I scrolled down and saw only his face, somehow I knew that it would be a Diet Soda. My guess was Diet Coke. But I guess that I wasn't TOO far off. 8)

What was his Thought Process? That the Carbonation would somehow help? :?:

Maybe he heard that Coke's acidity eats the Rust off of Metal. Well, Bubba still got the wrong Soda even if he was trying to use it as a "Foaming Pipe Snake" to clean out the carbon buildup.

Any non-combustible liquid will work, but some work better than others.

I prefer the wire pulling gel, but water works too, and is everywhere.

First you get really, really excited about shooting it, then you squeeze the trigger oh so slowly, then just before it goes pop you....ok, couldnt resist, at least I waited until they had a real answer.

This needs commended for some sort of Clever Quip Award. :D

That's EXACTLY how a generate the "Protective Coating" for the Internals. It dries out really quick though.

Frog Lube paste is an excellent medium. Doesn't dry out fast, makes wiping off carbon easier, and even smells good too.

So dunking it in water, letting it sit for a couple seconds, pull it out and let drain and then give it a shake, ISN'T the correct way?
That's what I did with my TAC65 sometimes in the past. It didn't do much of a difference for me to keep doing it.
