Silencer Co Hybrid - Stellite, Steel and Titanium

General silencer discussion. If you want to talk about a specific silenced rifle or pistol, it is best to do that in the rifle or pistol section for that brand.

Silencer Co Hybrid - Stellite, Steel and Titanium

Post by 5th_Amendment »

New video by Capitol Armory on SiCo Hybrid. Video claims it's made with Stellite and steel baffles with Titanium body. I plan to shoot alot of pistol rounds through one ... for cleaning, the dip should be OK should it not?

I don't think it has any titanium in it, but if it does then its a no go for U/S or the Dip.

Sleeve is Titanium on it, baffles aren't.

What is the issue with the dip and Titanium? I've heard in the forums that it is bad for Aluminum ... Ti too? Does it corrode or dissolve it? What?

Titanium depending on the alloy has aluminum in it.

I'm curious if the dip or ultra sonic would be safe for the omega 9k seeing as how it uses the stainless and stellite without the titanium sleeve
