ATF processing time

General silencer discussion. If you want to talk about a specific silenced rifle or pistol, it is best to do that in the rifle or pistol section for that brand.

All NFA laws apply.

Do you know how long it took to cash your check? Mine took six weeks.

I don't. I purchased it and the stamp together, then the shop sent in the payment. I know they mailed everything off within a couple days, but not sure when it went pending or the check cashed. From what I hear they are usually pretty excited to collect their money so I'm kinda surprised it took 6 weeks for one mailed at the beginning of the rush

I bought a Silincerco Hybrid on 2/17/16 and Ruger Silent SR .22LR on 3/24/16.
Received email yesterday both stamps were received by dealer.
The wait time around 8 months.

I purchased 3 cans, a SS Sparrow, an Octane 45 HD, and a Rugged Surge 762 in mid-March 2016 and started the Form 3 transfer to my LGS at that time. The transfers were approved and completed in early July 2016. I was able to file the paper Form 4 trust documents a week before the enactment of 41-P. I am pretty sure that all three of my Form 4 applications/paperwork are crammed in some government warehouse that resembles the one depicted in that Indiana Jones Raiders of the Lost Ark movie....lol... I have no idea whatsoever as to a time frame for them to be out of jail.....

I have another e-filed SBR Form 1 trust submitted in mid-June 2016, that hopefully will be approved in the not too distant future, details in the link below.

viewtopic.php?f=2&t=137522

(Sorry, i am a newbie and should have likely posted the above in this on-going thread.)

It is just a waiting game now..... good luck to all.
