I have an 18" proof research CF bbl with an .875" OD muzzle and a 15" SLR ION ultra-light guard.
I'm looking to have the suppressor mount as close back to the guard as possible, so anything more than 3" wouldn't work.
Thanks in advance.
What are the smallest/lightest over-the-bbl mounted .30 cal cans?

I agree. Maybe people are too interested in Politics and Prepping for Survival just now?GlockandRoll wrote:Damn... what happened to this place?

I'm not familiar w many Models. There are some Euro Builds that fit your needs. But you cant' import them.
So I have no suggestions other than a Form1.

Amtac, Griffin Armament, Surefire, and Allen Engineering all do OTB designs which are short enough. However I don't think any have large enough ID's for the .875 barrel. Might be SOL. If you want short and light, could always go with a Brevis Ultra II.

That's what I'm worried about now, the BBL OD.krowpots wrote:Amtac, Griffin Armament, Surefire, and Allen Engineering all do OTB designs which are short enough. I can't find much on there on the Brevis in 7.62 but it looks interesting being 3D printed for sure!

Yeah Amtac does make one with a large enough ID (the Sniper) but it needs 6in of barrel behind it. The Brevis II has gotten good reviews as far as I've seen. A direct thread Omega is only ~12oz and 6in as well which isn't too bad.

Have you considered a custom can? There's several companies that will do one off builds
