8th week of Form 3 and STILL waiting!!!! WTF???

Ordered Octane 9HD exactly 8 weeks ago. Was told by dealer that Form 3s can take up to 6 weeks, but they've been getting back to the dealer around the 3-week mark.

I ordered a suppressor in 02/16 and received my stamp in exactly 16 weeks. It's been 8 weeks and still can't even get a Form 3 just to even start the clock. Gonna be 2018 before I get my suppressor!!!!?????

It happens... the problem with the NFA waiting game is that you can say there's an average of 6-8 weeks, but you may have one or two randomly that take 20 weeks.

It doesn't make any sense, and the ATF may or may not be helpful to get things moving faster.

My Form 3 for the AAC 556SD bought April 23 2016 took 64 days for approval.

Their is plenty of people on here who have waited forever for their atf stamp. If your not willing to wait then don't bother getting into nfa stuff.

ericlw: I have no problem waiting 10 months for a Form 4. But if you're responding that you've waited 10 months for a form 3, then yeah, I'm pretty sure the majority of people on this forum would say that's absurd.

Obviously I meant xmas 2017. Suppressor should get to my local shop this week.

My Form 3 took 61 days.

The Form 4 for that suppressor was just approved after 283 days! It will also take up to 30 days for my dealer to receive the tax stamp in the mail.

I think you're confusing form 3 and form 4. There's no way a form 3 would take 10 months.

My form 3 took 6 weeks a year ago. That was pretty bad back then.

Mine just took 42 days. Oakland Tactical sent my form 3 on January 9th and it was approved February 21st.
