printed stamp

General silencer discussion. If you want to talk about a specific silenced rifle or pistol, it is best to do that in the rifle or pistol section for that brand.

All NFA laws apply.

printed stamp

Post by chugach »

received approval email on 5jan2017 for SBR via eforms form 1. Had a link to print the form with stamp attached. 23feb2017 I emailed atf inquiring when I would receive the actual stamp and paper form. I was told that since this was an eform I would not receive anything by mail and the form and stamp I printed was as the official paper work. does this seem right?

Yep. That's the way it is done. Efile forms get a digital copy of the approved form with the image of the stamp affixed.

Yup, $200 and you don't even get a real stamp :(

What do these things look like? Are they just digitized copies of the actual stamped documents which are kept at ATF somewhere?

That's what they look like, I'm not sure if there's an actual hard copy stamped at the atf.

It looks more like the stamp tool in Adobe.
