My 4 year battle with AAC to fix a defective suppressor...

General silencer discussion. If you want to talk about a specific silenced rifle or pistol, it is best to do that in the rifle or pistol section for that brand.

All NFA laws apply.

I have 5 Silencerco cans.
I have had to send 2 back for problems of my doing.
They repaird and returned them within 2 weeks, everytime.

This is why I will not buy a suppressor from anyone but Silencerco.

If this can is a wash, I would have the back hole bored out and thread it to 5/8X24 or even larger so a quick detach hider will fit onto it. If it doesn't work, I'd use the can as a metal gong and make a video showing how AAC cans work better as metal targets.

07/02 Here in Tucson AZ. AAC was great back in the day Mike Mers would call you and set up to have it fixed no questions asked....That is what a company driven by more than profit does. If you want I would be willing to fix it or re core it for you free of charge.

That's exactly what I would do, along with an adapter to get it back down to the original thread.

Couldn't agree more. I have had very few problems with my Sico stuff, but in each case their customer service was world class. These guys really know how to take care of their customers.

I had kind of been thinking about checking out another manufacturer because there have been a lot of new products in the last few years and I've had the itch. Then last week, I had another great experience with Sico. They'll be keeping my business.

I will suggest Rugged Suppressors. I had one fly off of a 3 lug that was not attached correctly. They repaired and recoated at no charge. A++ customer service.

More D-baggery from AAC. That's why I avoid them.
