I saw this link from Soldier Systems about this new sub $200 AR suppressor:

a sub $200 AR suppressor which is user serviceable and uses a standard AR stock wrench sounds pretty good to me. If it's as good as they're claiming, it'll be the first thing on my list for when I start working again.
Has anyone here tried one of these yet? Since it's new I doubt anyone has been able to buy one yet, but it seems to be available through their website already. If anyone has had an early preview of these, I'm sure they'd be on this board but nobody's chimed in yet. So has anyone tried one out yet?

25 ounces for a 5.56 suppressor is A LOT. Save up a bit more and get a 30 cal direct thread suppressor.

Nice tube. What is inside it?

They aren't filled with freeze plugs... mostly fender washers (!) as baffles separated by cut tubing as spacersHistorian wrote:Nice tube. What is inside it?
Except for the blast chamber, all of the other chambers are evenly spaced. The blast baffle is the only one that's different than the fender washers; it's about a 1/4" thick steel.

Black Aces Tactical just landed a permanent spot on my "to my avoid" list.
They didn't even bother taking the time to press the fender washers into little cones.

Apparently, you don't know anything about suppressors. That's the Pro model, they know what they're doing.John A. wrote:They didn't even bother taking the time to press the fender washers into little cones.

Ummm, yeah. I just noticed the label says PRO.
And TACTICAL is in their name.
That "thing" probably costs less than $12 to make and that's being generous where machine time is concerned on the front end cap being the fanciest part on it.

A case of ammo is a much better value.
