NFA Tracker data

General silencer discussion. If you want to talk about a specific silenced rifle or pistol, it is best to do that in the rifle or pistol section for that brand.

All NFA laws apply.

NFA Tracker data

Post by fishman »

according to NFA tracker, individual form 1s and form 4s have caught up to 2017. forms being returned in the same calendar year in which they were filed--what a concept.

However, trust form 1s and 4s seem to be lagging back to august of 2016. Are trust forms really THAT far behind the individually filed ones? or are the number of people filling individually post 41F vastly outnumbering the trust submissions? with the new regs, everyone that couldnt get LEO signatures as an individual now can. Plus, people might not want to deal with printing everyone in their trust and are just filing individually even though they have a trust.

what do you guys think, are the trust forms really 6 months behind, or does it only seem that way on NFA tracker? this wait time is driving me nuts.

They have said several times in the past year that they are not doing forms in the order they were received.

Which completely invalidates NFA tracker altogether.
I don't care what your chart says

Nfa tracker isn't invalid. Even without a FIFO system, trends still exist.

The guys on this forum tend to do a lot of transfers.

Looks like nfa tracker is about 50/50

Trust, or individual? Form 1 or 4?
