Curtis Tactical Ruger 77/44 integrally suppressed

General silencer discussion. If you want to talk about a specific silenced rifle or pistol, it is best to do that in the rifle or pistol section for that brand.

All NFA laws apply.

Curtis Tactical Ruger 77/44 integrally suppressed

Post by curtistactical »

Curtis Tactical Ruger 77/44 integrally suppressed rifle. This integral suppressor features a new 5" 1-11 twist Douglas barrel, the main 1" diameter tube is permanently attached bringing the overall barrel length to 16.5", an extra 4.875" front module is included which brigs the barrel length to 20". The suppressor can be used without the front module by moving the front cap from the module to the end of the 16.5" tube. All baffles are shielded from the tube and remove for easy cleaning.

Looks great Curtis,

I see that these do not screw together like your other designs.
is this because of room inside the front module?

Beautiful, I think I could make something like that, it should only take me about 10 years, maybe 12.

On the integrals where we weld the tube to the barrel there is really no reason to thread them together, they are still shielded so the inside of the tube doesn't get dirty. It gives a little more volume by not threading(the walls can be ran thinner), it really helps when using a 1" OD tube with a 44 cal lol. The way this assembles you drop the baffles in, thread a lock ring in to tighten the baffles then install the front cap.

This one took me a few days, a lot of design went into this to get it quiet with a 1"tube.
