Form 4 LLC

General silencer discussion. If you want to talk about a specific silenced rifle or pistol, it is best to do that in the rifle or pistol section for that brand.

All NFA laws apply.

For anyone with one of these and wondering if they'll ever get their stuff...

SBR purchased mid october 2016, stamp approved Oct 23, 2017. A little over a year.

The ATF has gone 180 on entity transfers, before they were the faster ones approved. Now, they have put entity transfers on the shelf and prioritized the individual transfers to show no need for entity transfers.

BTW LLC transfers are usually the fastest. They only have to check the validity of the LLC and that can be done on your states on-line entity checker. And check to make sure that specific type of NFA item is legal in your state or jurisdiction.

Yep, the LLC/Trust way used to sail through. Now, they sNail through!

I like to flexibility of owning through by LLC but might do my next suppressor as an individual for speed.

Pisses me off to wait a year for the gummint's permission to take possession of something I already paid for.
