The can the piston goes in is a circa 2000 design. I think the threads might have been for a HK Mk23 .45, but I don't have a Mk23 to try it on. I measured the piston threads but SAE inch thread guage didn't quite fit, so my guess is they are metric. I don't have a metric thread guage.

Looks like the pistons from my Automatic Weapons Company AWC .45 and .40 pistol cans... the Triad-II series take apart cans no longer sold by them. They could be shot dry but really liked to be packed with white lithium grease and even gave you instructions on how to do it properly and how to make a simple grease injector...roys101 wrote:Anyone recognize this piston?
