What is the initial thread pitch on the harvester 300? Do you have to use a thread adapter always or does it come 5/8x24 and then adapt from there?

Probably depends on where you buy it whether or not the dealer bundles a mount but even if they do they'll charge you for it.

You have to check the web site of the dealer you're buying it from or call the dealer for an answer to your question.

Just picked up my Harvester (300) yesterday. It does not come with a mount. You must buy an adapter to fit the thread pitch on the rifle(s) you want to use it on. This is my first NFA item.. excited to get it to the range.
