newbe with basic questions

I just joined the forum. I checked it out and I was impressed with the knowledge and information I found here.
You guys do nice job.
I have some basic questions that I'm sure is covered here somewhere so let me know where to find it.
What size hole do I drill for 9mm, and 45acp ?

I'm going to be using freeze plugs and I was wondering if spacers help lower the sound or are they really
needed? Like would it be quieter if I just filled the tube with baffles with no spacer?

I know I need some space in the blast zone how much? for 9mm and 45acp and 22lr?

Would a 1.5" can be quieter than a 1"?

I'm told I can do this with a form 1 Where do I get one?
