I’m ready to buy my first suppressor, I’ve researched suppressors day in, and day out. I keep coming back to the Odessa 9. It’s so modular, 100% stainless steel, and offers great suppression. This will be 100% on a pistol, and it’ll stay on it. I love how slim the Odessa 9 is too.
Anyone here have first hand experience with it? I know it’s 121dB-122dB with hush ammo. And roughly 124-126dB with standard subsonic 9mm ammo.
With hush 165Gr ammo, and (4) baffles it’s still sub 140dB “Hearing safe”
With a P226, and full length 11 baffles, and hush 165 ammo, running wet, this is probably a sub 120dB suppressor. < “ Maybe on a really good day.” lol
I’m not chasing low dB, I’m also in love with the Omega 9K. I love it’s welded short design. And simple shoot it to death, minimal cleaning design!
I’m willing to go for a louder suppressor, with a great tone to it also;like the Omega 9k.
But!! That Odessa 9 though, lol..
I sold all my possible host guns that were threaded.. and I’m literally buying a suppressor first, I’ll have time to buy another host or two while I wait on my form 4 to clear.

Not sure how many of these are in peoples hands yet, but don't think it is likely many.
It's not a silencer, it's a can of whoopass!

Re: Dead Air Odessa-9
I've shot it a decent amount... but it's not really in public hands yet. I absolutely hate this "test with HUSH" nonsense. It's garbage ammo.
In the full length configuration, it's quiet at the muzzle. When it drops in size, it gets loud fast. There's no ultra short configuration that sounds good.
11 baffles, 127
8 baffles, 133.1
6 baffles, 139.8
At 6, the average was under 140 but most shots were over 140.
For fun since we tested on the same day, the Aurora 2 went 127.7, 128.7, 128.3, 131.5, 131.7, 130, 136.5.
The Odessa 9 is NOT a dB chasing can. It's a thin profile can that is modular and guys can tinker with a lot. It's a neat can... is it a good first pistol can--- ehh, maybe not. That being said, we're different people with different tastes. My opinion is just that.
