After a shooting session...I notice the can was rattling.....so I dump the content out on a piece of paper...It appears to be a lot of carbon fragments....ranging from the size of a grain of salt and smaller. I also notice a couple of copper fragment. Ranging from the size of a grain of rice to smaller......... Possible the jacket on the bullet.
Never paid much attention until now...I usually just soak the whole can in BREAKFREE CLP.....and any fragment usually the flows out...
Never shook the can until day.......sooo...this could have been going on for years.....
I looked at the end cap...all the paint is still present...
Took out a bore scope...and scoped it.. See pictures below.
Does this look like a baffle strike?
Is that what the baffles look like? There seems to be a break in each baffle.... The circle seems perfect.
Where the heck are the copper fragment coming from? Jacket sepration
American/Winchester ammo. 147
Speers. 147
Normal baffle arrangement KAC 9mm NAVY suppressor? Or baffle strike
