Finally found a Remington 700 CP .308.
Given the 12.5” barrel, how best to suppress? What did Remington intend?

Rifle mnfrs rarely advise any specific Suppressor or Brand.
Just do your homework and insure that it can handle a .308 on a 12.5" barrel. There are several that can handle the pressure. They do it in different ways.

That’s what I needed for a start, pointer to a decent option (~$1k, quick attach, 12.5” .308 rated). Thanks. Been a while since I pawed thru such statistics; expected AAC would be an option but now starting at $2k maybe not.
