Help Please! 300 Win mag suppressor advice

Post by GetBit9 »

I appreciate your help in advance. I am look for the quietest suppressor to match with a 300 Win. My major concern is hearing safety. Shooting from a bolt action, few rounds here and there when hunting. Thank you in advance!

Really any 300 Win Mag rated suppressor should be fine.

If it yields 27 dB suppression or better, that is about the most that you can hope for in a centerfire supersonic magnum.

TBAC and others make good models.

SILENCERCO HARVESTER 300 WINCHESTER MAGNUM is really good. You should check that out.

Just use your search engine and investigate each of them, then return with the 3 that you are most interested in. We can advise you from there.

A 300 Win mag, even suppressed is still going to be loud. If hunting, probably not worth the added weight. Seems like I read about these ear plugs or muffs that only turned on when noise hit them, meaning you could hear the crunch or rustle of a critter approaching. I personally have not tried them. If you have not been around a fast supersonic bullet don't let Hollywood fool you.
