UK Parker-Hale/Barton Gun Works Suppressor

General silencer discussion. If you want to talk about a specific silenced rifle or pistol, it is best to do that in the rifle or pistol section for that brand.

UK Parker-Hale/Barton Gun Works Suppressor

Post by Historian »

Our British cousins are allowed to preserve their hearing
with a new generation suppressor. It is interesting that
it is a modification of the 1960s MM1 Snorkel, where here
the front cap+ snorkel is now a front cap + monocore.

Note: their dB readings are not to US MIL-STD meter output.

Here is the Wildcat Whisper and Wildcat Panther against some other models.

The Panther is a really sweet design. I wish that he had shown from the opposite camera angle. I'd also like to see an animated graphic of the blast front, and an internal view of the design. I wonder how much more difficult this is to make, compared to other designs.

Thank you, WR for finding this refreshing presentation
of a new European 'moderator' design and
a pleasant host who voice could grace the Old Vic.

Let us put out a call to 'moderator' users OCONUS to join in
with threads of their country's class of cans. Besides
giving us a chance to 'visit' with them we can get a glimpse
of what other designers are implementing.

Other EU countries, South American, Asian, etc.invited.

Best.
