What silencer to use for a .243 bolt gun???

General silencer discussion. If you want to talk about a specific silenced rifle or pistol, it is best to do that in the rifle or pistol section for that brand.

A buddy of mine wants to put a silencer on his coyote hunting rifle - it's chambered in .243 - any ideas??

762SD! I use mine on all my .308s (rifles and handguns) as well as some of my .223s. A .243 is nothing more that a necked down .308, so it should work fine.

.243 = 6mm

a 6.8mm suppressor would also work.
