AWC Spectrum 2000 and Soundtech Fatboy (.22)

General silencer discussion. If you want to talk about a specific silenced rifle or pistol, it is best to do that in the rifle or pistol section for that brand.

All NFA laws apply.

FatBoy is really quiet. It is made of steel.

I would love to try a Spectrum 2000 on an M14 but have never seen one.

I have a Fat Boy. It is a muzzle attachment version of it, not the ported one Mark sells now. It is big and heavy but is QUIET. I bet it would take .223 (no I'm not going to try it). I wouldn't hessitate beating a door down with it and it will still work. I will shoot full auto with it. I you don't care about the size, go for it.

I have a Spectrum 2000, but it is a standard thread mount, not for the M-14. It is a simple design and not nearly as good as the ThunderTrap. It disassmbles and is not welded.
