ASHBURY ASW338LM SNIPER RIFLE
Engineered around the versatile .338 Lapua Magnum cartridge, Ashbury’s ASW338LM is based on the combination of a Surgeon XL bolt action receiver and the SABER-FORSST modular stock chassis system. This sniper system enables shots on enemy targets and lightly armored threats out to 1,500 yards. The ASW stock can be folded and extended, while incorporating an adjustable cheek piece and folding monopod. The composite forend includes a monolithic top rail, a thermal heat management system and side rails that are co-bore aligned. Bullets are sent out of a Rock Creek 416 5R Pinnacle barrel with an optional muzzle brake or suppressor system. The manufacturers report sub-MOA accuracy with RUAG target ammunition beyond 1,500 yards.

Hmm... How long has this rifle been around? I've been trying to figure out why Savage's new LE rifle looks so damn funky but maybe they were trying to 'clone' the Ashbury.

You think that looks odd, you should see the "Haight Ashbury rifle"

It has black leather straps and is equipped with a complimentary set of pink stilletto heels.

Interesting..........looks like they put a weird angle on the grip. And the barrel should be longer to take full advantage of the cartridge. I like it but no the "bling" color.

Looks like its just been straightened to a more straight up and down or "1911" style grip angle. Agreed about the barrel and color.

I bet the optics alone are more than $20K. That has to be $35K.

Naw, the optics, laser devices DBAL + MUNS add to about 20k.

5k for the suppressor . . . .

Swiss RUAG ammo is expensive.

Rifle itself should be chump change.

I think it looks pretty cool. And you can fit three, count them three, .223 rounds in the grip, just in case...

I've got both the 20" and 27" gun here for testing and an article in Harris Pubs Special Weapons.

The laser is a Insight Tech ATPIAL.
There are three grip angle adapters in the kit. The color is not right yet, the anobize should end up Flat Dark Earth. All the rail space is a SOCOM requirement, you can remove anything you dont need.

The test guns are using the Surefire can, which works qute well. Ops Inc is an option along with the AAC Titan. I've used the Ops Inc, but the muzzle brake mount does nothing for recoil. I've not yet had a Titan here to test.
