General silencer discussion. If you want to talk about a specific silenced rifle or pistol, it is best to do that in the rifle or pistol section for that brand.

I hate that mentality.

Welcome to the board. I think you are Hot FWIW.
I would venture to say that I have more tats than most of the people on this board. I am not bagging on people with tats or people that give tats. Every tattoo I have I can cover. I feel that out of respect for the church as well as the event that you should not do anything that draws the attention away from the wedding and to something else. This is not a you have a tattoo so you are evil issue, I just feel like it is poor form to take away from a sacred ceremony, because you have a tattoo.
I agree. I had a "groomsgirl" standing on my side. One of my best friends. Big dragon tat on the back. She wore a nice shawl type thing (her choice, I never said anything) during the ceremony, then ditched it for the reception. She was being polite and classy I thought.

ETA - all that being said, to each their own. If you are doing a liberal or non-traditional or civil service, or whatever, and the groom and bride are down with it, let it all hang out.

Even though you have tattoos.
Having tattoos does not exempt someone. I know that I am judged by them and I accept that. What irks me no end is the dumbasses that go and get inked and then cry about not being able to get a job, or getting "stereotyped", or otherwise having some hardship over it. You made a CHOICE to get inked, and in most cases that choice was BECAUSE of the public perception. Deal with it.
You make broad sweeping judgements.

I simply feel you are wrong. I have hired just as many worthless people that have no tattoos as the ones that do. I hire based on education, background, exp, etc......

Man, some you guys get your panties in a wad much easier than some of the nutjobs over on democraticunderground.

Who cares about what you think tats say about a person. Admire the pics, leave some positive comments if you feel so inclined, and keep your negative comments to yourself.

On that note...

I am sorry I cannot for the life of me make a multi quote on this board!

ArevaloSOCOM; apology accepted. Some of the things I say sound great in my head, but when read by others I sound like an asshole. I am sorry about that.

delmccormick That is what I am talking about. That day is reserved for the bride and groom. When you leave the church all bets are off.

I dont want to be perceived as the new guy that shows up and trolls, but I do feel very strongly about this. I am generally not an ass (unless you are talking to my bride). I am also a real fan of hot chick with tats just not at a wedding.

and the reason for the SBR and suppressed pistol at the wedding was for? Expecting some crazy relatives or friends to show up?

(not knocking, I'm planning on bringing my suppressed p22 to my buddies wedding down in the keys to have some fun)

Who said Silencertalk was boring? The OP is smoking hot, and I like the tatoo's. I'm glad she posted here. Let's not scare her off until she buy's at least three more cans.

My ex-girlfriend had giant wings on her back and no other tats. She said she regretted getting them, I always tried to talk her in to showing them off more. Totally hot. Also, if someone had that much of a problem with my tattoos (few and mild though they are for now,) I wouldn't expect to be invited to an event with so much personal significance as a wedding.

I think guns and tattoos have a lot in common in this regard. Nobody's dissing the op about showing off her other hobby.

One thing I notice is that for formal events, most will cover tattoos. Like the above poster said with regards to covered during ceremonies and uncovered at the reception, that is tasteful and respectful.

This, not so much.
