Any experience with 7.62x39 subsonic?

General silencer discussion. If you want to talk about a specific silenced rifle or pistol, it is best to do that in the rifle or pistol section for that brand.

All NFA laws apply.

7.62x39 integral suppressed bolt action, a cool idea?

A thread back from the dead!

Finally got the old "K" conversion project complete enough to test fire.

Still need to mount the scope rail tonight.
Performance FAR exceeds my hopes and expectations!
With Hush-Bullet subsonic rounds it is De Lisle quiet. :D
I did not try it with full-power loads, it's a suppressor package.

This is a unique build, I have done 7.62x39 before but this is the only one which accepts standard AK 30 rd. mags.
Also put my new style stock adapter, ACE folding mechanism and a CAR-15 stock on it.
Perhaps my most "Evil" Enfield build yet.

Since I am getting out of NFA this will be for sale in a few days unless the repeat customer I offered it to takes it.
Lots of subsonic loads have been developed, I believe Hush-Bullet stated that his is better for pressure/accuracy, he is selling them commercially.
I need to find his card or contact info.
At these prices I want my gas 100 octane, leaded, and my windshield washed!

Not an SBR, one stamp.
Standard 1-10 twist .311 barrel, 9" long, ports start at 7", with a 16" long integral tube.
Ported support bushing to allow drainage for cleaning the expansion area.
Seven of my step-cone baffles, first is stainless and the rest are hard anodized aluminum.
End cap unscrews and baffles are removable for cleaning.
Basically the same as my Trecenti 300BLK builds, but works even better with the closed bolt action as there is no bolt-slap.
I do not have a Db meter but with subsonic rounds this build is at least as quiet as my De Lisle's, maybe even better, with a different pitch.
Not over-ported so it will still have a sonic crack unless subsonic ammo is used.
In addition to the suppressor I've equipped it with a Picatinny style scope rail, CAR-15 folding stock, AR pistol grip, and Bowers cover over the tube.
I worked on this for about eight years on and off, originally intended for myself but these days I'm more interested in completing my sports cars.
Have not heard back from the guy I offered it to first so it is for sale.
Unique, and would be somewhat difficult to duplicate, three thirty round mags, $1,800.00 shipped in CONUS.
In stock and ready to transfer on F3 or F4 if local.
I will include the remaining 20 Hush-Bullet subsonic rounds that I have.
7.62x39 subsonic loads are pretty well sorted so not difficult to do.
I think Hush-Bullet is still around but I need to locate his card.
