8 weeks for a new Trust!!!

General silencer discussion. If you want to talk about a specific silenced rifle or pistol, it is best to do that in the rifle or pistol section for that brand.

All NFA laws apply.

8 weeks for a new Trust!!!

Post by acsteele »

WooHoo!!!

I had hoped that things would move quickly, but WOW! I really never expected 8 weeks for a brand new trust! This one is a Yankee Hill Cobra in .45. The paperwork for the Silencerco Sparrow will be on the way this week, and I have to save another hundred bucks, to send to the Major for my .308 can.

This is an addictive hobbie.

We really should have some kind of a 12 step program.

My wife has already started rolling her eyes.

+1 on burning you at the stake!

Congrats on your most excellent triumph!

That's who I've got, too. It looks like he's currently taking 2-6 weeks on average based on arfcom, here, and nfatracker.com. I just checked mine today and still no dice on mine (I am at 4 weeks since pending).

I just got a trust and sent out all mine on it..I read what you wrote and got all excited that it is actually going to speed things up..To soon to tell..Frushour is just super fast..He did my Mac on a CLEO sign off in 2 months..Alot faster than any of my others..

One odd thing when it comes to speed I noticed..I just got another Kodiak with a custom serial number..That came back faster on the form 3 than any of the others they did for my dealer at the same time..Liberty said it must be the serial number..Now it went pending June 3rd and they only cashed the check May 19th..Maybe there is something to this serial number thing because everything always is right around 30 days for me to go pending..The real test is approval I know..

If it does speed up the whole process I'm not telling anyone..Then everyone will have it done and clog up the system again.. ...

Yeah let me cling to my dreams guys..You don't have to spoil it for me..

My wife has already started rolling her eyes.
At least she only rolls her eyes. My Fillipina wife who didn't know squat about guns before I married her has gotten a fairly sharp eye when it comes to what is in the safe, I pretty much get the same response though (requires multiple dinners, jewlery and other perks to reinforce idea that all that stuff was already there, all of which are entirely enjoyable from my point of view anyway).

I've done 3 form 4's on trusts this year and they have all come back in about 8 weeks give or take a couple days.

Same here on my new trust and first can (SWR Spectre) actually a little less than 8 weeks . Unfortunately they didn't process my 762SD at the same time.

Rob Howard and Suzanne Santamaria are the signatures. Since Suzanne is new-ish I'm guessing Rob assisted.

Rob probably never laid eyes on your forms. The supervisors have little to do with form processing in normal circumstances. Santamaria's been there long enough to do them on her own.
