Ti Rant .45

Shot my Ti Rant .45 for the first time yesterday. It's impressive for sure.
I do however have questions about the o-rings in the piston. The first o-ring is already trashed after 1 session. Does it REALLY need to be present to work on the HK USP Tactical?

this was posted in the AAC forum. i think Mers said it's ok to shoot w/o it. they know on an HK Tactical, it'll get torn up. there's a second one in there and that one will be ok. so i think you're GTG.

Don't worry about the first O-ring. It works with certain barrels better than others. It will run just fine with out it.

Randall, thanks, haven't shot the 9 yet, I was expecting them to take 130 days, not 50! So I don't have a threaded 9mm barrel yet, should be here along with some subsonic ammo this week. The .45 is downright amazing.

FWIW my TiRant 45 only came with one o-ring - the inner one. I have seen another guy's outer o-ring torn up and wondered the same. It isn't necessary to have so I guess they are leaving the 2nd one out now. BTW, my host is a USPT and so was his.

I love the 34, it's my goto 9mm, however I will be expecting a free can for that shag carpet comment. That's $2 a square foot carpet sir. From lowes.

Dude! I love the shag carpet. Seriously! Why buy a vaccum when you can by a tiller? I am all about multi-tasking. You know I will hook you up with your next can irregaurdless.

Just tell me when you have the 300 blk bolt actions, lightweight barrel. Also want a 300 BLK ar barrel I can retrofit to my ACR.

Can't think of any cans I need now. Change my mind.
