United States Patent #: 5773746

General silencer discussion. If you want to talk about a specific silenced rifle or pistol, it is best to do that in the rifle or pistol section for that brand.

All NFA laws apply.

Sorry... i'ts a coupler for a silencer to FH attachment.
I want some way to collar-lock my threaded .30 cal can to the end of my barrel, as to prevent POI shift during shooting.

The stitched together quilt of my stony silence forms a tapestry of quiet desperation.

Use a NordLock wash

use a Nordlock washer and your silencer will not come off easily
NFA shooters blow their load with only one pull of the trigger.

DO NOT USE NORDLOCK OR A CRUSH WASHER TO HOLD A SUPPRESSOR IN PLACE!!!

The aliment of the suppressor comes from the shoulder.
NordLock and crushwashers can and DO change this.
In fact, I just got my Thundertrap back from a baffle strike repair caused by this.

If anything, use Teflon tape.

I'm not clear on the point of it. Wouldn't a better solution be to simply use the barrel's threads to ensure a perpendicular shoulder to the bore axis? If nothing else, you could cut the barrel down and perminently install a quick detach flash hider/can.
