So, who makes the best integral pistol?

General silencer discussion. If you want to talk about a specific silenced rifle or pistol, it is best to do that in the rifle or pistol section for that brand.

All NFA laws apply.

So, who makes the best integral pistol?

Post by Fireman1291 »

Anyone know who introd new integrals at SHOT?

And care to make a list of MK2/3 integrals that are user servicable. Im really thinking about getting one in the future. I wish Silencerco or AAC would bring one to market.

I'm shopping for one as well. SRT's can be removed for cleaning of the blast baffle only. And Liberty is coming out with one this spring. I know SRT's will be good but I'd like to see what else is completely user serviceable.

Interested as well, I figured there were going to be some new integrals at SHOT but didn't hear anything about them if they were released.

Hmmmm.....a integral from liberty sounds promising. A stainless mk2 with a kodiak core in Ti. With a seamless endcap all done in beautiful brushed stainless. Yup...that's the ticket. :o

Edit: has to have a ported barrel so HV stays subsonic.

AAC had LOTS of "prototype" integrals at the Show - several are supposed to make it into production! :D

No sir, nothing that I'm allowed to post.

The AAC 10/22 that I got to handle was THE CAT'S AZZ!!!! :D

I got to go "behind the curtain" and see all of the secret squirrel stuff that AAC has in the works - LOTS & LOTS & LOTS of really, REALLY cool stuff. If they brings half of it to market, it'll be SOOOOOO AWESOME!!!!! :D

Fireman,
i can get some pics/info on the ruger soon. it is very cool. I will say about it and the 10-22- all stainless, fully serviceable. Both work with all ammo. We are looking at a quarter 2 release.

After I read about a few users saying how their suppressed 10/22s became too dirty to work reliably it really threw me off the platform. I find it curious AAC is even looking at 10/22 considering the 597 is of the same mother. Better market share on the 10/22 I suppose.

I'd like to see a model5 in a real stock (Rem bolt action rimfire) before a semi auto I think.

AAC's integral 10/22 is unlike anything that is currently on the market - it's a very well thought out design!

Thanks for the info Jason, I'm looking foward to a quality Ruger MK2 or MK3. Im guessing the Baffles will be all stainless and the exterior finish will be available in all black or stainless. 8)

Fireman, did you see the youtube review on Troy's integral .22 pistol? I would be much more interested in an AAC integral myself. I can't find the link at the moment, but it was either posted here or over at nfatalk.org. fwiw.....

Well I was thinking about building another 10/22. I guess I will wait to see what AAC comes out with and work on other projects in the meantime.

There's a "leaked" pic of AAC's 10/22 prototype on page 7 of this thread:

I already have a Tac Sol 10/22 and 2 .22 cans, but something tells me I'm going to have to buy one of those. Too cool.
