Most good cans nowadays are full auto Rated.RandyM wrote:Looking for some suggestions for a suppressor that will handle 9mm in burst fire / full auto.

What host are you looking to use it on?
Look at the AAC Evolution 9, the Ti-RANT 9, the SWR trident9 or Octane 9 to start. There are some larger subgun-specific cans from some manufacturers, like the Thompson Machine SG or others.
Kick Ass Design

I'm looking for the same to put on a 10-1/2" for my dedicated M-16 lower.
I think a dedicted SMG can would be better that a pistol can of same caliber but, I might wrong on that.
need more info. to decide.
I thought SRT made a SMG 9mm can but I could be wrong on that.
Needs to call Doug Melton.

If you're not part of the solution, you're not only "part" of the problem but, you "are" the problem.

AWC Agenda Six.
I absolutely love mine. It's old technology but its a subgun can. I've shot pistol cans (Evo 9, Trident) on an Mp5 and Uzi. I wasn't too impressed. Go with a dedicated subgun can and don't look back. Then buy a dedicated 9mm pistol can.

I think the Gemtech MK9K is a great design. If you are not concerned with pistol use and want the least blowback and cyclic change possible I think my list in order would be:
Gemtech MK9K
Bowers
Thomson SG
Custom Made
Gemtech MK9K

Thomson SG

I have a swr trident. absolutely love it. That being said I would get the new octaine 9
Re: WTK: Suppressor suggestions for 9mm full auto weapon.
I have an Evo9 and the blast baffle is very battered and full of fouling. When I bought it my dealer told me aac would service it, but aac has changed their stance on servicing evo suppressors and now they won't do it. I only own aac products (evo9,element and m41K), but after being turned away for evo service and my m41000 coming loose constantly I'm looking at other companies. I just bought an swr octane hd and I'll probaby pick up a specwar this summer. For heavy subgun use, look at SWR and Liberty Suppressors. Both companies make good products and they have a track record of taking care of issues.

Re: WTK: Suppressor suggestions for 9mm full auto weapon.
Dedicated subgun cans have tons of internal volume, but a can that can do "double duty" on a semi-auto handgun as well would also be a good choice.
SWR's new Octane HD with it's all SS baffle stack would be a nice choice! Think of it kind of like a 9mm Spectre.

The SWR's new Octane HD looks like a good choice.
I also like the looks of the Gemtech MK-9K.
I will use the 9mm can primarily on a MP-5, using the 1/2 x 28 threads.
So I'll be looking for the can that will work the best for it.
I am told the Gemtech has less blowback?
I also am leaning towards a can that can be at least partially disassembled for cleaning.
Thanks for all the input.

The SG
We have been building subgun cans since the early 1990’s, and the SG is the culmination of nearly 20 years of experience with these suppressors.
When we started the SG project, we decided to build something that no other manufacturer offers; a quiet, tough, mono-core Submachine Gun suppressor that fully and easily disassembles for cleaning (we find this feature to be a necessity due to the large volume of fire and subsequent carbon fouling that subgun cans are subjected to). We exceeded our own expectations with this can. At 12” in length by 2” in diameter, the SG is designed to minimize the blowback and ejection port pop that so commonly is the Achilles Heel of suppressed Submachine Guns. The SG has a very pleasant, low tone and is available in thread patterns for nearly every popular subgun, including Macs, Uzis, the TP-9, etc. On top of all these desirable features, the SG is priced to be affordable for everyone with a subgun to put it on. MSRP is $399.
The SG is available in 9mm, .40 and .45.
