Still waiting for a dealer to dealer transfer from late Jan.

General silencer discussion. If you want to talk about a specific silenced rifle or pistol, it is best to do that in the rifle or pistol section for that brand.

All NFA laws apply.

Still waiting for a dealer to dealer transfer from late Jan.

Man. I really wish I would have drove a few miles and found someone selling locally. I can't believe it's been four months now. I could have already been approved for the silencer itself on a personal level, were I not waiting for this. I don't think anyone had stainless Sparrows locally at the time, though. I would have settled for something else if I knew it was going to take this long.

Sounds about right, my Form 3's are taking twice as long as my Form 4's!!!

Shipman is getting my customers their Form 4's in right at or under 60 days...

They can be hard to find - for some reason MANY gun dealers refuse to handle NFA business. I don't know why, but how long have you been waiting?

I had a batch of form 3's that were backed up for FOUR MONTHS once.

Like I said, late January (I think it was January 28th or something like that?)

I'm coming up on waiting four months now.

Well, that's good to hear, at least. Maybe if I'm actually able to get this thing sent to my dealer soon, I'll have it before fall.

Have your dealer call to check the status.

I've had some that were approved for a few weeks/month before I realized they were still here.

Once I called, the examiner faxed me the approved F3 the same day and I was able to ship to the customers dealer.

Things like this happen alot. I've had MANY missing approved form 3's.
