M4-1000 on 10.5

General silencer discussion. If you want to talk about a specific silenced rifle or pistol, it is best to do that in the rifle or pistol section for that brand.

All NFA laws apply.

M4-1000 on 10.5

Post by JohnnyO »

Is it okay to use the M4-1000 on a 10.5 barrel?

Why wouldn't it be?
The stitched together quilt of my stony silence forms a tapestry of quiet desperation.

Yes. It is ok. The M4-1000 is more durable than any silencers from any other maker that I know of. Only more expensive models from AAC are more durable.

In the spirit, how about a M4-2000 on a 7"? Would AAC still warranty that? Would it even suppress??

I know of no suppressor more durable than an M4-2000 Mod 07. So if you wanted to suppress a 7 inch, none would be better. However, AAC does not guarantee a warranty on 7 inches. Yes, it suppresses. I have posted many Beta mag videos of AAC cans on 7 inches.

A 7 inch barrel is silly. 10 is short as it is.

What is the shortest barrel you could use them on and still have it under warranty?

I have an M4-2000 Mod 07 on order and was going to use it on my 9" Vector V53 as well as other rifles.
