if your question was aimed the site site then, I would say good point

I have found this site and the members to be excellent, and have learnt so much and had so much help it has been great.

When I found site a while back I did not know any of the baffle types appart from washers and spacers and now thanks to you lot have made many complex K baffle suppressors with fantastic results.

I have to say though that many posts all too often degrade into arguments and, I may be out of line here (not being from the US) but why the constant reminders "have you done your paperwork". If say I have a car do you really need to tell me "don't break the speed limit" surely we are not the suppressor Police, let authorities do that.

Anyway great site and thanks ALL for your help, lets remember most are doing this for fun so lets keep it that way

understood, i think people ask about paper work because they dont want to "assist" people that dont have (in the US).

I have often thought that the FIRST page of this site should read all persons should know and understand there laws and obey them. This site is not your lawyer of your mother. If nobody used the did you do your form x and such we could free up gigs of wasted redundancy on the laws rules and regulations.

I don't mind the legal questions, reminders. It's all part of the NFA world. No one knows all the laws relative stuff. Often the thought that something might be illegal or even need some kind of paperwork falls into the "I had no idea" part of things. That's part of the cool thing about coming to a site like this one.

Did not go this year as the wife and kid were both out of town so I took advantage of it and finished many projects going on at home and on the machines that needed to get done, maybe next year.

I hate to say it but... Sometimes I like the reminder.

Example: I am playing with a Mare's Leg. It was orginally sold has a "handgun". I have already had a Law Enforcemnet officer try and tell me it is a "cut-down rifle".

I also have changed the caliber to 454 Casull, and added a recoil pad to eliminate the bite on the wrist by the metal plate.

I realize that it looks like a SBR, shoots (walks?) somewhat like a SBR, but is it really?

I asked this question earlier and was glad for feedback.

I may get the writing on the barrel "Gold-plated" that say "This firearm originally sold as a handgun".

I decided a can wasn't appropriate for this "FUN GUN"
