Cyclone good for more than 308?

General silencer discussion. If you want to talk about a specific silenced rifle or pistol, it is best to do that in the rifle or pistol section for that brand.

Cyclone good for more than 308?

Post by Wrench_V10 »

Just ordered my Cyclone tonight, was wondering what calibers it's good for. Its going on the Rem 700 AAC so for now I'm not too worried, just wondering for future reference if its ok for 30-06 or 300wm.

Its fine on a 30-06 but not sure a 300WM would be wise, call AAC about it protect your investment.

I know that AAC sells a 300WM can, my guess there is a reason for it.

AAC told me on a bolt gun (not a BAR on full auto) 18" and over was OK with 30-06. I will have my 30-06 AI finished at 22" and Mike Mers said fine.
Long distance, the next best thing to being there!
