Can that can handle full power 10mm ?
I am looking for a can that can handle full power 10mm. So I was considering the YHM Cobra M2 40 can. Any others you guys would suggest?

I'd be willing to bet that you could get liberty to bore out their mystic (9mm) can to handle 10mm... It's rated fro 300 blk supersonic and it's a beast (stainless/titanium, ~15 oz) so I imagine it would handle it.
That's the only one I can think of. I wouldn't try it on an aluminum can.

10mm and 40 S&W loaded long for a 1911 with a ramped barrel can generate quite the velocity, pressure and muzzle flash. I'd certainly think an aluminum can would not be a wise move.

Liberty said it would not take a slide fire 9mm. Would that be more pressure than a 10 mm?

emailed Mike Pappas about 135gr going 1600-1700fps - he said he's never tried anything that fast...but thought the osprey 45 should be ok.

Dave said the Mystic not sound good bored out so he has no plans to do so. I'm sure he come up with something though.

The Double Tap 200 and 230gr WFNGC have a Gas Check on the back of the bullet. I would not shoot any bullet with a gas check through a can with the potential of coming off and damaging the can.
I've shot the 135gr 10mm from DT as well, and it was highly inaccurate out of my G20. Shot all over the damn place.

If I where loading 10mm for a can it would be 200gr and slow, otherwise why bother using a can? funny, I have owned most 10mm pistols but never threaded. It is a great round to load for!
