General silencer discussion. If you want to talk about a specific silenced rifle or pistol, it is best to do that in the rifle or pistol section for that brand.

What's even worse is my last form took 217 days (approved in May), and there weren't any issues with the paperwork at all, just them taking their sweet time. I may call though this time, what is the number? (This is a Form 1 if that makes any difference).
I believe it does not make a difference, at least in my experince. I'm sure someone will chime in if I be wrong.

I just recently made the mistake of sending moneys to each addy for a form 1 and a form 4. They received both on July 30th and only one check has been cashed.
A common mistake so I am told.

Since when did the ATF cash the check using a ACH transaction? Not complaining as this is quicker but if they are getting witthe times and technology maybe everything else will go quicker too!! One can hope.

I sent in my paperwork and check back in April. They had my check cashed within a week, but I guess they lost my forms. After many phone calls I was told to resubmit everything last week. It looks like it will take about 1 year to get my tax stamp from when I first sent everything in, back in April. If it were not for bad luck, I would have no luck at all.
