How long is an efile Form 1 taking these days? I filed one in the middle of May 2015 for an SBR, and I'm wondering how long the wait has been for others. For that matter has anyone got a paper Form 1 or Form 4 back recently? How long are paper forms taking these days? Just curious.

It looks like efile forms are taking about 2 months and paper forms about 3 months.

Just got two Form 1 trust efile back for SBR's. One was sent in May 19th . The other April 16th. The were both approved June 25th. Must be grouping by name.

I've been waiting since March 17 for a form 3 approval for a silencer. My last form 3 (Nov. last year) took 9 weeks. This one is at almost 17 weeks. I hoped to pick the silencer up in late August or early September after form 4 approval. Looking more like November or December now.

I had 3 form 3's for silencers filed at the same time. All three were complete within 4 weeks.

Yeah my first dealer would make me wait the 8-10 weeks till the form 3 cleared to file my form 4. My new dealer get the serial numbers the day I order and file smy form 4 that day. No wait for the form 3 first. That 2 1/2 month shortcut is so much appreciated!!
