Does the M4-2000 use the same 3 baffle stack as my Krinkov can?

Also I saw a can in the Photo section of this forum http://www.silencertests.com/silencer-f ... c.php?t=67
Its a form 1 built 223 can that mounts about have way in the can and the rear of the can is kept aligned by the barrel. I was thinking about doing a form 1 and making a can somthing like that. What do you think of this setup? It looks like a good way of having a can with alot of volume yet not having 12" hanging off the end of your barrel. But is all that volume behinde the muzzle realy doing much?

The baffle stack in the Krinkov is somewhat similar to the baffle stack in the M4-2000. The baffles and spacers in the 7.62mm Krinkov can are tuned to the pressures of the 7.62 x 39 mm round. The 5.45mm Krinkov stack is more closely kin to the M4-2000 stack.

A can which has a volume behind the muzzle tends to work for subsonic rounds better than supersonic in my experience. Think of the Finnish 'Reflex' design. Depending on the internals it might have an extra-dose of first-round pop. Yes it is an attractive idea because of the OAL and companies have tried it to death and conventional single-point designs are in fashion now for various reasons.
