Infrared Class 1 Laser choices for pistol?
As far as I can find the Lasermax IR class 1 is the only small pistol mounted unit available. I read its a bit hot for sensitive Gen 3 nightvision though. Its appealing at $300, but I'd hate to ruin a $3,000 Gen 3 on it. Lasermax uses a 850nm laser module, yet its suppose to bloom alot up close, so I was wondering if a 904nm would be much better? US-Laser now sells micro lasers that are only 6.4mm in diameter and seem to be the ones to fit in the Lasermax uni units. Does anyone know if Goteron uses these US-LAser micro lasers in his conversions to IR or does he have a different source? The standard laser modules used for the Beamshot 1000 conversions are much bigger at over 10mm in diameter, but they are from US LAser as well. Does Goteron put in the 904 or 850nm IR lasers in the converted red unimax? What do you use for a small pistol IR/ Gen3 NV?

Lasermax is the only one available right now.
