My "new" snubby... This was my Dad's EDC engraved by "NK" I am trying to find out his full name (my sister has the file on this pistol and is looking for it)

I picked it up from the estate executrix Friday. It has 5 or 10 shots fired from it. The face of the cylinder is clean no black.. bore is Like new.

Note some history: In 1965, the Chiefs Special was rendered in stainless steel and designated the Model 60, becoming the first stainless steel production handgun. .

I verified the Serial # and it is in fact a 1965-66 "Bright Finish" My Dad got it from a friend of is in the CIA as most people could not get one of the early ones. It was one hard to get pistol. Secret service, CIA and FBI got a lot of them. Now SS is no big deal.

Note initials of engraver at the 4:00 position under the S&W logo

Now that's a real nice piece with excellent engraving.

As nightfall does not come all at once, neither does oppression. In both instances, there is a twilight when everything remains seemingly unchanged. And it is in such a twilight that we all must be aware of change in the air -- however slight -- lest we become unwilling victims of the darkness.
