I got tired of being warned by stupid moderators on other boards. So I want to get more general traffic here. Tell people to come here.

People will come here because they want to check out silencers. They would normally leave and go post somewhere else about their day to day gun questions and never actually post about silencers. Now more will stay.

I also removed the restriction about having to register to read the forums.

cool ill put the word out(to my 3 minion like friends who dont even like guns, thats another reason i come to this site) htis is the only web site i go to for answers and to answer other peoples questions about guns and silencers from my limited experience here there are alot of peolple who know a lot of what there talking about ive heard some bad stuff about ar15.com and seeing the intellect of the majority of people who make post on here will never have that problem.it also nice to see someone from MA who has MGs and Silencers because i used to live there(Beverly)and for the longest time I thought those were illegal in MA if you werent a dealer.MGs as silencers for civs is a nono.where else can you chat with AAC frontman Kevin or his wife.

ive made more headway for myself on silencer know how and no how and silencer purchases in the past 2 weeks than i have in the past 3 yrs cause i was limited to 1 dealer LRM(dont get me wrong hes an awesome dealer)and what i saw in advertisements in SAR and other mags heck i am about to get 3 cansnow through Bookhound quicker than i ever did before because of this site.

anywho i like this site and welcome the change.

Can Florida really be considered the south with all the retirees from the north living there?

But this forum is a nice touch. :)

Growing up in S Fl I've always considered everyone else northerners LOL. The smaller towns inland don't have many Yankees it the coastal areas that kill us.

Do you differentiate between Yankee and New Yorker? I assume New Yorker is just a worse form of Yankee.

Been in Ft Myers for 20 years now, so 2/3 southern I guess. Been going to Cecil Web range, but looking for somewhere else to go where I can enjoy my can's w/o earplugs.

Paranoia: Any suggestions?

I'm in Arcadia so you are about an hour south of me. I am fortunate enough to shoot on private land no restrictions other than you hit a cow your paying for it. I do hate gun ranges and my limited experiences with them. I was kicked off of one because I was drawing from the holster, I probably have more training than the average JOE.

Maybe well get together sometime and do some shootin.

Very cool. I have no formal training, but a friend who I usually go to the range with is ex military and was a medic on the local swat team.

So far I only have 3 can's to play with, Gemtech Trinity and viper-45, and a AAC M4-2000.

We'll have to figure something out, I tend to draw more attention then I like at Cecil.

I've considered it, but decided not to. I plan to get a .308 for longer range shooting at some point. Biggest I have at the moment is a Cetme.

I just fixed a bug in my varment ar, and plan to get a bit of practice with it out to 200 yards before I get something bigger.

Ok I was wanting to try my stormfront on a Bolt action 50 so I can compare the recoil to my rifle

TiBaffle sorry man Cuba isn't part of the south

I do have an old laptop that a .50 bmg might be able to 'fix'. Was thinking about using a 12 guage slug, or mag buckshot.

Another thought.. ever use tannerite at your 'range'?

Just ordered a pitcany riser rail for my RRA, and some badger ordnance scope rings. I'll probably be at cecil re-zeroing it and testing it out. If you want to meet up I can bring what few can's I have.

PM me for my e-mail if you want.

trust me i kow what you mean when you say that but it really is not true. it is more international that what the rep has been(cubans were the first of the influx). man o man we have latin folks from all the central and south american coutries. and canandians(and new yorkers too). puerto ricans, jamaicans, domincan and haitian. no this is not proper south, but as stated, miami is not representative of all florida.
